The Fort Crawford Museum is Open Daily for Regular School Tours, May 1st through October 31st

• 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM/Reservations Required

Reservations May Also be Made for School and Group Tours anytime during the year.  

Tours are guided tours of the Fort Crawford Hospital, a National Historic Landmark, and the Museum of Prairie du Chien. 

We also are pleased to offer the following activities to your tour (additional fees apply):

• Sleeping Like a Soldier: Students follow directions to assemble and make a bed like those used at Fort Crawford
• Survival Skills: Students learn skills of survival from 200 years ago - using a compass, making fire with flint and steel, and hunting for food
• Frontier Games
• Native Plants

Students: $3.00
Additional Adults: $5.00
Teacher and Bus Driver FREE
Student classes attending Crawford County Wisconsin Public and Private Schools are FREE

Adult Group Tour Rates
Adults and Seniors reduced rate: $5.00
This rate for scheduled groups only.
Tour bus drivers and teacher chaperones are FREE.
